"Working with Kate has been the greatest transformational experience of my life. In many ways, she's put me and my Partner on a path toward our authentic selves and brought us in touch with energies that we never knew existed. This is my story.

You can summarize Kate in one word...INTEGRATION. Through multiple forms and methods, all designed to allow your greatest gifts to flourish. Below is a brief account of the five portals we have opened together:

The First Portal - (Awakening)
Our journey first began with Sound Healing under the full moon with my then-girlfriend and now wife (this comes into relevance shortly in what was my first act towards self-love. I was working in a very high-stress, high-demand sales role with my primary outlet of repair revolving around some form of stimulant/narcotic. The moment the ceremony began, I could feel reconfigurations and realignments happening, more importantly, I was curious again...curious to explore other paths of myself instead of retreating into distraction. It was here that the possibilities of Reiki first entered my mind.

The Second Portal - (Community)
Kate's gifts have exposed her to a large network of healers and fellow travelers seeking their highest self. Her ability to provide a forum for so many soles gave my partner and me a new sense of family. Not to replace those we have, but to naturally extend into a never-ending group of people willing to face their own trauma in order to be of the greatest service to themselves and others.

The Third Portal - (Love)
Kate's work opened up pathways for me and my partner to grow together, through this work we grew. She helped us discover one of our truths... "I can be of best support to you by working on myself and you can be of best support to me by working on yourself". Through this practice, our love grew in a Golden Ratio of endless forms of expression and synchronicities. Kate also blessed our engagement ring with a sound bowl healing which brings us a constant reminder of her love for us every rainbow it casts.

The Fourth Portal - (Attunement)
I was now ready to begin my work with Reiki. As I would expect from Kate, this gravity of the experience was very much unexpected. During my work with her, we uncovered a past life that I could now connect to within a shared space. I was ready to receive my first symbol, Cho Ku Rei, and connected the power of the universe through my hands. I can only explain this as a light switch allowing me to explore and enhance pathways for myself and those I'm in service to (Kate taught me how to give Reiki to my cooking).

The Fifth Portal (Service)
I took my gifts back to my original passion in life, Cooking for others. I had given up long ago on the possibility that this would ever be available to me outside of cooking at home (which is still one of my greatest joys). Now blessed with community, my beautiful Wife (Also attuned Reiki 1 by Kate) had introduced a way for us to cook for our newfound family. In this work, We started seeing past "flavor" and into "nourishment" not only for the body but for the spirit of both the person receiving and those who gave of themselves to provide this nutrition back to the world. Within a short time, this love was coming back to us in hugs and smiles. We had made a difference in their lives and helped them through their own process which has now resulted in a career change towards a true purpose.
